Philanthropy

Throughout the Year at Alpha Gamma Rho, we hold two major Philanthropy events, one in the spring and one in the fall. During the fall semester we hold Puppies and Pancakes. During Puppies and Pancakes, we cook pancakes and bring dogs to the house to raise money for our on-campus animal shelter. During the spring, we have our annual AGR Crawfish boil to raise money for Habitat for Humanity.
Puppies and Pancakes September 24, 2025
Puppies and Pancakes happens every year at the AGR house. Brothers make pancakes and bring their dogs to raise money for CAA, our local animal shelter. Last year we raised around 2,400 dollars for CAA.
Annual AGR Philanthropy Crawfish Boil 2026 Date TBD
Every year in the spring Brothers of AGR come together to boil crawfish to raise money for Habitat's for Humanity. This year AGR boiled around 1,200 pounds of crawfish, and raised 5,000 dollars for Habitat's for Humanities.
